Remote tank level measurement probes – TORAN’O-compatible and ATEX Zone 1: LEV’O+ | WATTECO
WATTECO LEV’O+ probes connect to TORAN’O for remote LoRaWAN® monitoring of liquid and LPG tank levels. Pressure and Hall Effect versions support ATEX Zone 1 applications, threshold alerts and distribution logistics.
The WATTECO LEV’O+ range provides remote tank level measurement solutions designed for connection to the TORAN’O LoRaWAN® transmitter. The range includes a pressure-based probe for liquid level monitoring and a Hall Effect gauge for LPG tanks.
When connected to TORAN’O, the measured level data can be transmitted periodically through a public or private LoRaWAN® network. These solutions are suitable for monitoring storage tanks located indoors or outdoors, including installations situated in ATEX Zone 1 environments, subject to the specified installation conditions.
The TORAN’O transmitter supplies power to the connected probe only during the measurement cycle. Once the measurement has been completed, the probe returns to standby, helping preserve the battery autonomy of the complete monitoring solution.
Advantages
- Remote tank monitoring: enables liquid or LPG level data to be transmitted through a LoRaWAN® network.
- TORAN’O compatibility: plug-and-play connection to the compatible WATTECO TORAN’O transmitter.
- ATEX Zone 1 use: suitable for hazardous-area applications when connected and installed with the compatible TORAN’O device.
- Low-power operation: the connected probe is powered by TORAN’O only for the duration of each measurement.
- Configurable monitoring: TORAN’O can manage measurement intervals, grouped transmissions and threshold-based alerts.
- Logistics optimization: remote level information can support fuel, LPG and liquid distribution planning.
- Existing tank integration: the LPG version can provide an electrical remote-level output from compatible Rochester Gauges.
- Local and remote indication: the LPG solution retains a percentage dial for local reading while providing a remote electrical signal.

Why choose the LEV’O+ remote tank level measurement range
The LEV’O+ range provides two measurement technologies for different tank monitoring requirements. The liquid level version uses relative pressure to monitor the height of liquids without requiring the tank’s geometric dimensions. The LPG version uses a contactless Hall Effect transmitter to convert the position of a compatible Rochester Gauge pointer into a proportional electrical signal.
Combined with the TORAN’O LoRaWAN® transmitter, these probes provide remote level data, configurable monitoring intervals and threshold-based reporting. This makes the range suitable for inventory monitoring and distribution logistics where regular site visits or manual readings need to be reduced.
