SmarTprobe sensors provide an innovative and cost-effective solution for the waste industry, monitoring temperatures at the core of stockpiles with two main applications:

For audits and for monitoring the temperature of compost windrows.
For compliance and fire prevention (FPP) in the waste industry: these robust wireless temperature probes are designed to protect your site against the risk of fire from spontaneous combustion.

The system features a unique multi-level alert system based on PREVENTiT software, which warns you of rising temperature levels in your stockpiles, giving you the opportunity to react before a fire even starts.

They constantly monitor the temperatures of waste piles (wood, RDF, SRF, windrows, organic waste, peat, coconut fiber…) and provide the data directly to your computer wirelessly. The sensors are simply inserted into the windrows, where they monitor temperatures 24/7 and send the data directly to your computer.

SmarTprobe sensors can be used for both indoor and outdoor windrow monitoring and control operations, making them ideal for sites performing both processes and storing the finished product outdoors.

The SmarTprobe system has multi-level alerts that, once triggered, will send messages to designated personnel via email or text, indicating where the alert came from, and allowing the user to prevent a fire.

SmarTprobe sensors are available in two possible lengths (to be confirmed at the time of order):
