Continuous Aluminium (Al) Analyzer | SEIBOLD
The continuous aluminium (Al) analyzer is a device designed to measure dissolved aluminium in water. It features a measurement range of 0.005 to 1.000 mg/L, high accuracy, and automatic calibration and cleaning. This analyzer is ideal for monitoring aluminium levels from natural sources and industrial processes, particularly in water treatment applications. It ensures safe drinking water by detecting aluminium concentrations resulting from the use of aluminium-based flocculants.
The continuous aluminium (Al) analyzer is designed to measure dissolved aluminium in water. Aluminium can originate from natural sources, being the most abundant metallic element in the lithosphere, or from industrial sources where aluminium salts are used in water treatment as coagulants.
Key Features:
- Measurement Range: 0.005 - 1.000 mg/L (ppm) in standard version (other ranges available on request)
- Accuracy: +/- 3% full scale
- Resolution: 0.005 mg/L
- Automatic Calibration and Cleaning
- Spectrometric Method: Uses LED detector
- Display: Equipped with a color LCD screen
- Measurement Interval: Continuous or programmable
- Sample Volume: 75 - 200 mL
- Maintenance Interval: 3 months
- Operating Temperature Range: 5 - 40°C
- Operating Humidity Range: 0 - 85% RH
Applications:
- Natural Sources: Aluminium is the most abundant metallic element in the lithosphere.
- Industrial Use: Aluminium salts are widely used in water treatment to reduce microorganism levels, turbidity, color, and organic matter.
- Drinking Water: High aluminium concentrations in drinking water are often due to the use of aluminium-based flocculants.
