The Model 902D Portable MAP Gas Analyzer is designed for fast and reliable measurement of residual oxygen (O₂) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) used in the food industry and in various industrial applications.

The analyzer measures O₂ (0–100%) and CO₂ (0–100%) simultaneously, allowing users to verify the composition of packaging atmospheres that may contain nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide or mixed gases. This enables quick verification of packaging quality and helps detect potential leaks or incorrect gas mixtures.

Powered by 220V AC or a rechargeable battery, the instrument can be used directly on production lines or in laboratory environments. Its compact design (less than 3 kg) makes it suitable for use by both technical and non-technical personnel.

The analyzer uses a sampling probe equipped with a needle that pierces the packaging through a self-adhesive septum. The integrated pump draws the gas sample and displays the measured gas concentrations in approximately 15–20 seconds.
