PRICE ON REQUEST

The HERMES Personal Mercury Monitor™, also referred to as HERMES PMM™, is a compact mercury monitoring instrument designed for personal exposure assessment, workplace monitoring, industrial applications and remote atmospheric measurements.

Based on UV absorption at 254 nm, the HERMES provides real-time mercury measurements with integrated GPS logging, allowing mercury concentration data to be recorded continuously together with geographic location.

Its folded U-shaped optical path provides a 15 cm path length in a very compact format, enabling sensitive mercury detection while maintaining low power consumption for portable and field-based use.

Advantages

  • Portable format: compact dimensions of 4.0 × 3.0 × 1.5 inches and a weight of 0.34 kg.
  • Integrated GPS: mercury measurements can be logged with geographic location.
  • High sensitivity: limit of detection of 0.2 µg/m³.
  • Wide measurement range: linear dynamic range from 0 to 2,000 µg/m³.
  • Low power consumption: nominal power requirement of 3.0 W.
  • Battery operation: external 7.4 V lithium-ion battery with typical operation of 5 to 8 hours.
  • NIST-traceable calibration: supplied with calibration data and a NIST-traceable calibration certificate.
