Introducing the HD-1620, a versatile handheld real-time air monitor designed exclusively for firefighters, first responders, and industrial hygienists. This instrument can be conveniently held, strapped around the hand, secured to a belt clip, integrated into turnout gear, or mounted on a tripod. Its user-friendly design features a single, large "Go/No Go" button for swift and effortless deployment.

The HD-1620 provides a comprehensive array of data, including temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and GPS coordinates. It also measures various particulate matter sizes, such as PM-TSP, PM-10, PM-5.0, PM-4.0, PM-2.5, and PM-1.0, and offers a particle count within specific PM fractions.

Equipped with a sizable color display, complete with adjustable backlight settings, this monitor ensures clear data visualization under diverse environmental conditions. Additionally, it incorporates a color-coded Air Quality Index (AQI) derived from the US EPA's PM-2.5 index, enabling users to assess air quality in real time. Users can also opt to view a rolling graph with customizable ceiling and Short-Term Exposure Limit (S.T.E.L.) alarms.

Subscriptions are not necessary to access data, as users can conveniently view it within our software or export it to a .CSV file. We actively support user maintenance, allowing easy cleaning of optics and filter replacement. The instrument even signals users when maintenance is due, and its sensors boast a remarkable lifespan of 10 years.

This user-friendly device delivers real-time insights into health concerns and empowers employers to establish engineering controls for workers, such as recommending N95 masks, implementing SCBA respiratory protection, ventilation controls, and facilitating evacuation or reentry plans.
