Portable Open Channel Flow Meter: Stingray LV550 | MICRONICS

This new portable flow meter Stingray LV550 has a long battery life with its standard alkaline battery power supply. It allows you to measure and record the level, velocity, and temperature in open channel flows: open channels, sewers, outfalls up to surcharge, without weirs or venturi channels.

The Stingray LV550 uses a submerged probe that measures velocity and level by ultrasound. With no moving parts, this probe can resist fouling and corrosion.

It measures the water level and velocity in pipes and channels. The probe is a fully enclosed ultrasonic sensor with no orifice, fixed inside the pipe or at the bottom of the flow.
The waterproof electronic box is installed hanging in the manhole or another convenient location. Each Stingray LV550 comes with a probe holder, software, and cables.

Delivered ready to use with: power supply from 4 batteries (approximately 4 years max autonomy), LCD display, internal data memory with a capacity of 130,000 points, USB port output, and Windows software (to record and transfer files, view level, velocity, and temperature readings in real-time), standard profile sensor with holder + 7.6 m cable.
