Real-time indoor air monitoring for ultrafine particles
The Pegasor PPS-1000 is a compact, cloud-connected instrument designed for real-time indoor ultrafine particle monitoring. It is the successor to the Pegasor Airin and is now Pegasor’s recommended solution for indoor UFP monitoring.
Conventional indoor air quality monitors often do not detect ultrafine particles, although these particles can be relevant for indoor air quality assessment, occupational hygiene, exposure evaluation and research. The PPS-1000 provides real-time data on particle number concentration (PN), lung deposited surface area (LDSA), particle mass (PM) and median particle size in one device.

Why ultrafine particle monitoring matters indoors
Ultrafine particles are not always captured by conventional indoor air quality monitoring equipment. For technical teams responsible for indoor environments, occupational exposure, laboratories or research facilities, this can leave an important part of the particle profile undocumented.
The Pegasor PPS-1000 is designed to provide real-time visibility on ultrafine particle levels in indoor spaces. By measuring multiple particle-related parameters in one device, it supports a more detailed view of indoor particle conditions.
- Helps monitor indoor ultrafine particle levels in real time.
- Provides PN, LDSA, PM and median particle size data from a single instrument.
- Supports indoor air quality monitoring, occupational hygiene and exposure assessment.
- Can be used in offices, schools, laboratories, public buildings and industrial indoor spaces.
Pegasor PPS-1000: successor to Pegasor Airin
The PPS-1000 replaces the Pegasor Airin as Pegasor’s recommended solution for indoor ultrafine particle monitoring. It continues the same indoor UFP monitoring concept with updated connectivity, an integrated modem, cloud-connected data access and a modern compact design.
The instrument is equipped with the Pegasor PPS-G2 sensor and uses Pegasor’s electrical particle detection technology. It combines an ejector pump with a diffusion charger, where sample particles are charged in an ionized air flow. The system uses electrical current and particle size information to calculate particle number, particle mass and LDSA concentrations in real time.
Cloud-connected indoor particle monitoring
The PPS-1000 can be connected to the Pegasor Cloud Portal for remote data access, storage and reporting. Its integrated modem enables data transfer from the device to the cloud, making it possible to monitor one or multiple PPS-1000 units remotely.
Through the Pegasor Cloud Portal, users can view measurement trends, check device status, create reports, export data for detailed analysis and access measurement data through an API interface for integration with external systems.
- Remote data access and storage.
- Trend visualization and device status monitoring.
- Report generation and data export.
- API access for external system integration.
